Graduation Policy
The WAAST/AGGST Board of Governors awards the degree only after the following requirements are met:
The student’s academic record is reviewed and all requirements found to be satisfactorily completed. The student is subject to the academic requirements of the catalog for the year in which he or she first enrolled.
All thesis work is completed and signed by October 1 of the year of graduation.
The student’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) is at least 3.0.
The student’s financial accounts have been paid in full.
It is the policy of AGGST that all graduating students attend the graduation ceremony. If there are extenuating circumstances that make travel to Lomé difficult, a petition may be sent to the director of graduate studies to allow graduation in absentia.
AGGST loans the academic regalia for the ceremony. However, a student may purchase his own regalia if he pays for it in advance. All inquiries should be directed to the registrar’s office.
