WAAST exists to promote the accomplishment of God’s mission through Pentecostal servanthood. Fulfillment of this mission requires three spiritual qualities: 1) a passion for the mission of God, 2) a servant’s heart, and 3) Pentecostal empowerment for holy living and effective service. The school seeks for these qualities to be developed in the classroom, chapel and times of focused prayer.

The dormitories and apartments are equipped with wardrobe closets, study tables, flush toilets, running water and screened verandas.

African food is prepared and served in a lively and informal atmosphere. Mealtime is a time of peaceful relaxation and fellowship.

The lounge is equipped with a television and comfortable furniture where students can gather with visiting friends and fellow students.

Facilities are provided for table tennis, regular tennis, volleyball, and soccer. Students are required to participate in physical activities weekly.
